Dr. Kelly Maya, D.C.

Dr. Kellianna Maya has been involved in alternative health care for nearly 20 years. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, for 8 years she had a rewarding career as a Massage Therapist. After building a successful practice she realized Chiropractic was a better fit for her interests in bodywork, alternative health and nutrition. She graduated in 2005 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. She holds a license to practice chiropractic in Massachusetts and continues to expand her knowledge of nutrition, biomechanics, and energy kinesiology.

Her natural affinity for techniques whose subtle applications produce profound change has lead Dr. Maya to explore many energy based techniques. She completed the 100-hour Certificate course in Applied Kinesiology, as well as many other courses: Activator Methods, BioGeometric Integration, Nutrition Response Testing, and NeuroEmotional Technique. Dr. Maya loves how Axial Stability Method naturally blends with her previous experience in Applied Kinesiology, low-force Chiropractic and holistic health.

Dr. Maya has had many opportunities to explore different healing modalities due to her own health challenges. As she traveled the road of complementary medicine she discovered firsthand the power of low-force Chiropractic, and finally her chronic pain, low back dysfunction and chronic fatigue began to resolve.

Dr. Maya spent some of her younger years traveling coast-to-coast by bicycle, backpacking around Europe and living in Australia. She moved to the area from the Midwest with her young daughter, and is enjoying exploring and living in New England.
